Akers replaced my waterline in front of my house. They did an excellent job. Despite needing to dig a few holes in my front lawn to put in the new pipe, my lawn looks exactly as it did before there work. You can't even tell they had to dig.\r \r Overall they were fast, friendly and offered an extremely good price for the work they did. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs plumbing work done. more

IOne of the best experiences under the worst of circumstances. Imagine getting an 800.00 Water bill to ring in the new year! Aker's was able to come out the next day to give me an estimate. The estimate was competitive but what really sealed the deal for me was that they were able to prioritize their work and start on my project the next business day. He used state of the art equipment to locate the leak and gave me a comparison in the cost of repair vs. replacement. Andy promised to get it done in one day with minimal disruption to my landscaping and that he delivered. The customer service end of it was great. Traci, his wife ran the business portion of the mom and pop and she was stellar in her communication. She always returned calls and emails promptly. I would absolutely recommend Aker's to anyone with an emergency situation. They are honest, efficient, and true to their word. Thanks to Andy, Traci, and Ryan for a job well done. We are very happy for the quality of work and their flexibility in terms of scheduling that Andy and his team provided. They are very straight forward with their prices, and extremely knowledgeable in the area. We had a leaking water line running from the meter to our house. They were able to come and quoted a very good and reasonable price on the job. (I did get another 2 quotes for comparison). The completed the work on time and exceeded my expectation. Some contractors would rip you off when in desperate situation like that, but they were very honest. I will recommend their services to families and friends without a doubt! more

I can't remember when I've been so pleased with a contractor. The work was done in a timely, professional manner as promised. Best of all....no surprises! He even went out of his way to give extra (weather) protection to the newly installed water pressure regulator at no extra cost. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. You can and should listen to all the other reviewers below! Andy Akers and his crew are true diamonds in the rough. We had to have our side sewer replaced this fall and after receiving a bid from a larger company we got a second opinion from Andy. He and his team gave us a more thorough bid and took the time to explain to us everything that needed to be done. They kept everything well organized and always kept us updated on what they were doing. They were extremely professional, thoughtful and courteous and made sure to talk to both of our neighbors and our tenant about the work so everyone knew what to expect. It is rare these days to have the owner of the company actually out in the trench installing pipes, yet Andy was there! Andy and his crew did excellent work. At the completion of the job, they had extra gravel and used it on the side of our house and left it looking better than it had before the job was done. These are THE guys to call if your sewer needs fixing. I can't recommend them enough! more

From the first contact with Traci Akers, to the final inspection, our experience with Akers Plumbing was beyond our expectations! The work included a complete replacement of the water line, requiring approximately 200 feet of digging throughout the back yard. This work was completed in two days with no evidence of the digging. They replaced a broken water main on our private well; the pipe was so old it had to be replaced from the well head to the house, they ran the new pipe in a sleeve and laid a trace wire in case we need to locate it the future. Andy told me the steps it would take to do the job and when it would be competed, the work progressed just like he said it would and the site looks better than when they showed up. I am a very happy and grateful customer of Akers Outdoor Plumbing and I highly recommend their professionalism and integrity to anyone. Being left without water to the house after finding the main water supply overflowing in the front yard, I was somewhat concerned about how to find a reliable company who would not take advantage of our emergency situation. I called Akers at about 6:45 in the morning - they were at our house by 9. They answered our questions, gave us a fair estimate and took care of all the permitting and utilities. We had water again by late afternoon and the landscaping was restored the next day (to allow time for the inspector). They replaced the entire line from the the street to our house with state-of-the-art tubing in a sleeve for added protection. They used trenchless boring for most of the 45 ft distance - only digging a hole at the street and the foundation and another in the middle - the rest drilled underground. We were quite relieved since the trenchless technique saved our lawn and quite a bit of landscaping at the front of our house. But even with the smaller holes, Akers left the yard and rockery at the front of our house looking as good or even better than before the leak! Thanks for the great job Akers! Pete more

Akers replaced the main water supply piping for our house and 3 other houses on our easment road. The project was completed on time and within budget. All of us were impressed with how much attention was paid to keeping the work site clean and insuring no other neighbors were inconvenienced. more

Andy Akers and his crew were just 'God sent'! After getting an exhorbitant water bill from the city due to a leak in my property, I went and found Akers Outdoor Plumbing on the internet. Tracy Akers who was very gracious and consoling on the phone, immediately scheduled the visit to my property on the same day I called . Andy and Ryan were there as promised, ready to find the leak. Not perturbed with a 2.7 acre property to find the leak, they were able to detect the leak in no time. They came to fix the problem the following day. I am really amazed with the professionalism of Andy and his crew. They are truly the company everyone needs to deal with when it comes to leak detection and repair. more
