Richard and his crew performed inside and outside painting along with a complete gutter replacement. I found through this experience that he is reasonably priced, clear and concise, fair and delivers on his commitments. \r \r Any type of construction job is bound to create other work outside the scope of the original agreement. The workers were very careful to point out any related work that should be addressed and Richard was more than fair in negotiating the work and the associated additional cost. This creates trust between the owner and the contractor. \r \r I would not hesistate to call Richard for my next project and this is high praise from me! more

Richard Herman and his crew of 3 were terrific to work with! He always returned my phone calls PROMPTLY. Any additions to the work were always handled quickly and easily, always cost me more, but, oh, well, he is in the business of making money, right? Although he wasn't the least expensive, my husband and feel great about the quality. The crew was sooooo wonderful - I almost missed them when they were gone! They cleaned up the mess every day before they left. They were always very respectful of my space and privacy - like when John was painting the outside of my bedroom/bathroom and knocked real hard on the window to make SURE I SAW HIM before I embarrassed him! They always explained to me what they were doing and why it had to be done that way. We started out just wanting some pressure washing and painting done, and ended up letting Allxteriors handle LOTS more!! They replaced 11 windows, replaced the siding with Hardi-board on 5 dormers, rebuilt the front porch roof, after a MAJOR leak with extensive water damage was found, replaced some bad wood on parts of the house, then finally painted it. It is now beautiful and nearly perfect!! I will be sure to call Allxteriors next time I need any work done on my home! Pros: quality of workmanship more

Richard and his crew came out and painted the interior of my apartment. They were very professional and did excellent work! When they were done they left my apartment clean and orderly. When I looked over the work that they did, I had one wall that I had not asked them to do, but I changed my mind and called Richard that same day. He returned my call and we worked it out. The crew was back the very next day. That is what I would call prompt, courteous, prefessional service. I recently moved out of the apartment into a house. Richard and his crew recently completed some major repair work at my house. I had neglected the home for many years, the paint was shot, boxing was rotted in several locations and the gutters needed to be replaced. My wife talked to several contractors and got several quotes including a very thorough proposal from Richard. I asked him to come by the house and review it with me and make sure he had spotted all the trouble areas I knew of. I pointed out every thing I could think of. Richard was very interested in making sure he understood everything I wanted done. The next day he sent a revised proposal that included everything we had discussed for the original price! He completed everything we wanted and continued to check in and make sure we were satisfied with the work. Richard and his crew were all very professional and did quality work including leaving my house neat and orderly at the end of each day. Materials and equipment were put away and all debris was removed from the property at the end of each day. When the work was completed Richard asked me to inspect everything and make a list of anything that needed attention. The list I made was very short and Richards?s crew completed it promptly. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get home repairs done; get a quote from Richard. I wanted someone dependable, honest and talented to do quality work without needing a lot of attention and direction, Allxteriors delivered. The First job went well, I paid them over $5000.00. The second job (NOT TO GOOD). I am out $1000.00 Would not return phone calls. Now I am the bad guy! Going to court MARCH 4, 2008 @ 2pm. Pros: The workers do great work!!! Cons: The owner will not return or answer HIS phone. more
