Fleming's Auto Svc

Good: Porfirio was fast, friendly and went above and beyond what we expected. We called AAA a little after 10:00am because of a dead battery, he arrived at the home we were staying by 10:35 and we were back on the road by 11:00! We could have easily lost half a day of our vacation trying to get a tow to a garage and definitely would have spent a lot more.. Improvements: None needed!. Other: After installing the battery and making sure the car started, power locks and windows worked, etc., he let me know that the radio would not work until I entered the code that came with it. Of course I didn't know the code, but he knew where it was "hidden" on the car, found it and reset the radio for me. Porfirio was so nice and funny that he eased my stress immediately - he fixed my car and my mood!. more

Called AAA, Fleming's responded. Porfirio was great...replaced my battery quickly...he even talked to the MTA street cleaning parking ticket person and made sure I didn't get a ticket for having car trouble on a street cleaning day. Overall very satisfied. more

Greg is awesome! Called Triple A and the tow truck came in less than 15 minutes, got my car out of my garage (which is super tricky) in no time. Friendly service, very helpful and efficient. more

Needed a jump late one eve in the pouring rain. Wilmar was fast, competent and very courteous. more

When my car got a flat, I called AAA and they put me in touch with Fleming Auto. The dispatcher was really sweet and kept me updated on my call's status. The tow-truck driver, Harold, arrived a half-hour early of the scheduled time to tow my car to my mechanic. He was efficient and super nice. The entire experience was painless, which has not always been the case. If this happens to me again, I'm requesting Harold. more

I am ashamed to admit I ran out of gas in the middle of an intersection the other night. The good news is, couldn't have asked for a better rescue. Wilmar was there within minutes - he was knowledgable, helpful and kind. He made sure the only issue was the gas before he sent me on my way. more

Adam from Flemings Auto arrived promptly to jump my dead battery. He was prompt, knowledgeable about auto mechanics and gave me good advice on where to purchase a replacement. more

Flemings Auto Service is not a great place to go to fix anything that has to do with your car - trust me on this one! My car broke down on a Friday afternoon in downtown San Francisco and the AAA tow truck towed me to Flemmings Auto Repair. Apparantly, they also run the AAA towing service in the area. They told me that the problem was the fuel pump but they could have it done by Monday afternoon. I agreed to the repairs and took the bus home. I got a call from them the next day (Saturday) telling me that my car was ready and I had to pick it up within the hour because they were closing. I took a $20 cab ride to their shop and payed for the repairs. As I drove the car out the door it died in the middle of the street! They wouldn't push the car back in and I had to wait for one of their tow trucks to arrive to haul me back inside. They put the car back on the lift and determined that they put the fuel pump on backwardsand would be able to fix it until monday morning. I was furrious but managed to keep my cool. I explained to them that I was just out $20 for the cab ride and that they should remburse me but they didn't. more
