do not recommend this. They are only interested in Money and don't give a Sh*t about the patients.... more

Billing department is terrible 3/15/2012

My son loved the doctor..however after we moved a few months later I received a bill which I swore I had already paid...so I paid it. Then in January the next year, I received the same bill and paid it again (thinking this possibly was my fault) and mind you I paid it over the phone to a live person. A month later I received a warning letter about my bill so I called the office. The woman stated payment did not go through, so reluctantly I paid the bill for a 3rd TIME. A month later I got a collection letter from an outside agency...needless to say I was PISSED when I had to pay the collection agency as my fourth payment. Luckily this did not go onto my credit report but it is pathetic that whoever took this payment 3 TIMES has no idea what they are doing!! (I apologize to the other nice people in the office that are not idiots)...If you do go here, just really pay attention to the billing please more

Absolutely Terrible 9/27/2011

If I could give zero stars I would. The phone system is atrocious. I saw a counselor and a doc. The counselor (Shults) literally read off a checklist on a computer. The doctor (Smith) is more interested in being a author. You walk into the office and you see his books (self-published) rather than his psych credentials. The staff is rude and they seem to have no idea how to do their job. Go somewhere else. Talk to a stranger, it would be a better use of your time and money. more

Don't Bother 9/13/2011

Was a patient for many, many years. Only interested in writing prescriptions and herding you out the door. Suggested that I find another psychiatrist when the list of medications he could prescribe ran out. I'm obviously medication resistant and he has not offered other suggestions for help in my recovery.\r \r No personality whatsoever. Monotone, no eye contact, not really interested in your recovery. More interested in selling his books than treating your illness.\r \r Office staff is unprofessional. Always eating and checking you in or out at the same time. They act as if you are bothering them during their lunch.\r \r more

No help what so ever! 9/20/2009

Doesn't listen, doesn't look you in the eye. Stares at computer, no interpersonal skills, no offers of other servcies that may help. Doesn't need to be practicing psychiatric medicine, needs to get therapy himself. Cons: M.D. sees you for 2-3 minutes, pushes meds on you more

Office Staff is Hard to Work With 3/19/2009

The office required that I get pre-approval from my insurance company before they would see me, something I have never had happen anywhere else. \r \r When questions came up concerning duel insurance and switching coverage they were not helpful nor would they resubmit claims. Several times, claims were submitted to the wrong insurance company and I had to pay out of pocket and then try to collect form the correct insurance company.\r \r Office staff didn't seem to care about the patients, and after a year I don't remember anything that the psychiatrist or therapist discussed.\r \r Currently seeing a different provider and much happier and better cared for. Cons: Staff is unprofessional with insurance and billing issues more

Great doctors but terrible phone service. 1/25/2009

They really act as if they don't want to be bothered taking calls. It is very difficult to speak to a human and then you play phone tag forever. It is such a shame because it gives such a bad impression! more

Do not choose Tony Goodbar 1/8/2009

Overcharges for services rendered. Unprofessional office staff. Did not address the problem for which we came. Did not test or do complete evaluation, simply gave a prescription. Will never return. Cons: Service, price, treatment, waiting time more

awful phone service 8/25/2008

I called these people to make an appointment. First you have to sit through a recording that gives you the current office hours, the new office hours effective September 5, 2008, their mailing address and fax number.\r \r Finally I get to select ""make an appointment"" and I get another recording, but unlike the first one that was professionally recorded, this one was recorded by the receptionist. She didn't say ""sorry but I'm away from the phone right now"" or anything like that. I got the distinct impression that she didn't want to speak with anyone, forcing you to leave a message so she can get back to you when she feels like it.\r \r The idiot recorded the message into her speaker phone from a distance, making it difficult to understand. She left her e-mail address, so I sent her an e-mail, assuming I got the spelling right. I decided I would rather spend a few minutes writing this review than to call again and sit there listening to their crummy recordings.\r \r They make the clear impression that you are not valued and they don't care, so I would definitely not recommend these people.\r \r Criminy, it's a psychiatric facility; they should answer the phone when you call during business hours! Cons: they won't answer the phone more
