I can't imagine being more disappointed with a business than I was when we bought my daughters wedding dress here. \r She found her dream dress online and we looked for a shop that carried the designer. Perfect Dress and one other did. We knew the shop didn't have the actual dress so they suggested coming in and trying on a few styles like it, which we did. Lucy was very helpful during that visit. We ordered it at that time, sight unseen, because it would take about 5 months to come in. \r About 5 months later, we received a call saying it was in. I asked if we needed to make an appointment and they said no. We went that day with her sister and her 2 sisters-in-law. Everyone was very excited as this would be the first time seeing and trying on her wedding dress. We were handed the dress and pointed to a dressing room. Not one sales person was with her the entire time she was trying on her dress. She's a tiny girl so her dress was made a bit too big. Her sisters helped her out of the room holding her dress up while she tried to hold up the top. Finally someone saw that we were struggling and she put a few clips on the back. There was a sash we thought was included with the dress that wasn't on it. They told us to check the bottom of the bag and it wasn't there. As it turns out, the sash wasn't included and had to be ordered. That took 4 months to be made and sent. (They did pay half of the cost for the sash for not knowing it didn't come with the dress.) Thank heavens they had a long engagement! We wanted to find a veil and we were left on our own to find and help her try them on. The only reason we bought the veil there was because we had a credit and didn't want to waste it. Everyone left that day, sad and upset, about what should have been a fun, exciting event.\r I know that no one was being paid that day because we had paid for everything when we bought the dress but this was ridiculous. When you pay almost $1400.00 for a dress, you hope that the bride would receive some sort of help and attention. We had purchased dance dresses from Perfect Dress in the past and thought it would be a great place to go. Unfortunately, for the most important dress of her life, we couldn't have been more wrong. more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SEAMSTRESS RUINED MY DRESS!! 4/6/2011

I have never had such a awfully painful emotional experience before I bought my wedding dress at this store. I was treated terribly by the owner but bought my dress anyway because I love it. The seamstress Pat ruined my dress even though it fit almost perfectly when I purchased the dress, it only needed the top part taken in to fit to my chest. more

Thank you!! 3/1/2011

Lucy is the best! The shop/selection are ok... 2/11/2011

So I went looking for a dress for a Valentines day dinner, and I went into this shop hoping to find something, and I dread dress shopping cause I have an hourglass figure and most the dresses there were strapless. I told Lucy my concerns and what I was looking for, she listened and showed me a few things, and talked me into trying on a few strapless ones. She was super patient with me, the shop was busy and my boyfriend was with me, so she let him sit at the bridal desk with her and chatted him up while I tried on dresses. I found one I liked and didnt plan on buying one so I didnt have the cash on hand, and asked what the hold policy is there, she said they can't hold them...so I was bummed...but she told me she'd put it in the back and I could hope no one would sell it. So a few weeks later I was able to get my dress and it was still there, and Lucy helped me check out, and asked me again about where my dinner was and was super sweet and nice. I can't vouch for the wedding dress aspect of this shop, but the prices were ok and the selection was decent. I think I got lucky with Lucy...I need to take her out to dinner next! more

Worst wedding dress shop in Utah 1/3/2011

I initially went to this shop because they said they carried the designer that I wanted. I called them just to make sure that therapy did and they assured me they had a huge selection. But when I got there they only had 2 or 3. The first girl I talked to was not someone you want to buy a dress from, she was dresses terrible and there was a funny smell. I decided to still give them a shot. She said she was going to go check on something for me but what she was really doing was eating Wendy's and came back with her mouth full of food and breathed its nasty smell in my face. It was so gross. I asked her why she had told me on the phone she had over 20 styles to choose from when she only had a few....she didn't even answer me. She then told me that the dress I wanted to see would be coming in in a few weeks that too was a lie. I went in again and it was even worse. They were all rude and talking bad about the other dress shops to the customers. The nicest one there is Carol, but I still wouldn't buy my wedding dress from her. Don't waste your time going her. more

Some of the Worst Service I've Ever Received 9/14/2010

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am a plus sized bride who was dressed casually and my consultant was incredibly rude and belittling. Even though I had told them I was from 3 hours away when I initially made the appointment the first thing she told me was that I should ""come back for the new styles next month"" and ""just get an idea today"". I explained that because we were getting married across the country I really wanted to order soon so that I would have extra time for alterations. She finally acquiesced and said I should go browse around. I did, and she came back (10 minutes later) and I told her a few styles I wanted. Then she went into how the designers ""always only send them size 10s"" like I should not try on the dresses. I said that was fine I could just try the 10s. Then she told me again that I should browse. So I went and looked again. By then my friend and I were very annoyed. She was not helping us take the dresses into the dressing room and hadn't told us where it was so I just decided that I wasn't going to bother and waited for the consultant to come back. She finally came back over after another 10 minutes went by and I explained that at this point she had dissuaded me from trying on dresses. She went on in a false tone about how she was ""super sorry"" they didn't have many dresses. That was not the problem! I had a few dresses I WOULD have tried on had she not been so rude. I had no problem trying on the sample size 10s just to get an idea. Then the consultant actually told me that I should ""just go to Davids Bridal"". She never once asked me my budget (which is considerable) and I have been to plenty of other DESIGNER dress shops that have more then just size 10s. Not to mention I would have been fine trying on dresses in the size 10 samples if she hadn't have been so rude. If I wanted to go to Davids Bridal I could have figured that out for myself. I want a nicer quality dress and I am willing to pay (quite a bit) for it. But my money definitely won't be going to the rude consultant over at The Perfect Dress. more

The Best 9/7/2010

My friend and I had looked everywhere for a dress that was high fashion at a great price... wow, did we find a great place. It was a great experience and the girl helping us really got fashion and had super taste in jewelry,, what i really loved was how she was there to help but didnt smother us. The store was very busy with other girls which made me feel like we had found a great place. I mean, i have had great service in stores with no one in there, because they had horrible selections and way over priced. Now i only wish i had known about this store sooner!@!! more

Bad service 1/27/2009

I felt completely ignored in this bridal shop. I went there looking for an affordable, non traditional wedding dress. They showed me where to look, put me in a dressing room then disappeared. I was never offered any help, they never pinned or clipped any of the dresses that were too big, all of the basic services that I got in every other bridal shop I went in. When I was done trying on dresses I had a few questions and sat there waiting for them to return for 20 minutes. In the end, we just walked out and I will never do back there or recommend anyone too. Pros: Dress selection Cons: Service more

Not So Sure... 1/13/2009

This was the third bridal shop I tried and was just average as far as bridal gowns go. If you are looking for a modest gown, half this shop has gowns already altered with sleeves. As I did not, it was hard to imagine what the gowns would look like without the sleeves. Also, I've seen really nice stylish sleeves put on gowns and all these were very plain. I would reccomend, if you don't like what the seamstress they have has to say about making your sleeves, that you get a second opinion. Pros: Lots of dressing rooms with mirrors. Friendly staff. Dresses organized by designer. GREAT bridesmaid dress selection Cons: Dresses in garment bags. Half of them already with sleeves added. Did not have my dresses despite calling ahead. more

Reallly Perfect 2/8/2003

Store owner was wonderful to get the most beautiful dress in a timely manner for a fair price. They went out of their way to order the dress and make sure I would have it in time for my bridals. This is a wonderful small shop that will get you what you need. Pros: Customer Service, Quality Product, Unique/Classy Styles more
