57 acres of meadows and gardens play host to herbs, flowers and trees, as well as several artists' galleries, a recreated pioneer home and a gift shop. Many locals come here to volunteer in the gardens. Call ahead to schedule a guided garden tour. The Garden Cafe offers lunch and snack foods. more

Beauty is Where You Find It 8/21/2005

The botanical gardens is like a hidden adventure. the different gardens are awesome. The fragrances will overwhelm your senses. In addition to the gardens are the different species of birds and small animals. The daylilly garden is the best, the colors take your breath away. It is sooooo much fun feeding the overgrown carp in the pond. Summers bring jazz in the garden too! What better way to spend an evening. more
