Almost 12 years ago, my husband and I spent our wedding night at the Woldert-Spence Manor in Tyler, TX. We loved it so much, we made it the place to stay for our 10th anniversary. Over the decade, the bed and breakfast maintained its demure, Victorian atmosphere. The home was as beautiful as it’s always been. The owners were just as pleasant. They ensured that our stay was as romantic as it was on our wedding night. We stayed in the Alma Mary and Robert Spence room for our second time. It’s the most expensive, but with being the largest and only $125, it was well worth it. We had our own porch, and our bathroom was authentically Victorian. We plan to stay there again on our 20th anniversary, we love this place so much.
