We used to absolutely love Flat Rock, we would eat there about twice a month, sometimes more, and it was the place we took our families when they visited and wanted good food. But all that changed when the old owners were replaced. The menu was cut down in size, and some of the best items were also removed. The prices were inflated quite a bit, and the service went downhill. While the food is still good, and the restaurant has one of the best Shecrab soups, and dinner salad I have ever had, these are not worth the hassle and sometimes rude treatment by the waitestaff. If you don't mind spending a little more I would check out Blue Fire Grill, also on Woodruff Road. The ambiance is better, the service is wonderful, the food is great, and did I mention that the service was wonderful.
