The Greenville Zoo is a fun way to spend the afternoon, especially for the kids. The elephant is a fun way to start the zoo- I think her name is Joy. The snake house can be scary but fun. It doesn't take long to go through the entire zoo although they are working on expanding. Its small enough that you can take very small children through the entire park. Its cheap admission and Cleveland Park is right next to it so its a good way to spend the day in downtown Greenville.
